Skills Bootcamps — fast-track into a new career.
Free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for adults aged 19 or over. Build sector-specific skills aligned to real employer demand, with a guaranteed interview at the end.
What is a Skills Bootcamp?
Skills Bootcamps are intensive, employer-led training programmes funded by the Department for Education. They are designed to plug skills gaps in the local economy and move learners quickly into work.
Most bootcamps deliver training at Levels 3 to 5 — medium to higher technical skills — with Level 2 in some sectors. Every bootcamp is co-designed with employers so what you learn matches what they need to hire.
Open to adults who are in work, self-employed, unemployed or returning to work after a career break.

How Skills Bootcamps work for your business
Hiring new staff

Training existing staff
Large employers contribute 30% of the training cost; small and medium employers contribute just 10%. The rest is government-funded.
